The journey we are on is what life is about and yet the pressure is on simply to be ready;
Ready for what we may not understand, so what is the rush and what do we gain by running to something no matter the pain;
We get so tired, we miss so much, we lose the chance to be in touch.
Take the hand of a child and walk with their eyes – those that see and wonder;
Take the time to ask questions and consider the replies – with patience and understanding, they will make you wise;
Take the time to pause and time to reflect – to know oneself through introspect;
Pray and sing to the Lord above – he is the source of our strength and love.
The life we lead while here on earth is driven by time and how we measure our worth;
We make our choices based on what we believe; we show by our actions as to what is key;
We can make a difference in the lives of others or simply reflect a view of ‘why bother’;
By all we do, we serve ourselves or give the gift of serving the Lord.

We can barely keep up and adapt to what’s happening; in the face of it all, it is quite overwhelming;
We fear the unknown and don’t like the changes; yet can’t go back to what was before;
We must trust in ourselves and in each other; we need to have faith in the God up above.
