Poetry and Short Stories

My poetry is ‘experiential’ in that I like to base much of what I write on various moments and experiences.  Yet more importantly, my poetry serves to assist with my well-being and to practice my spirituality.  Upon reflection, I find that messages are often relating to faith, dreaming, making a difference, gratitude and hope.

I am by no means an expert poet, choosing to learn as I write and to write in a way that works for me. The ideas and words for my poetry come to me at all times of day (and night) and in many places (e.g. swimming pool, church, while driving).

With respect to ‘short stories’, I have written and completed a few and have a few more in the queue.   Each of the stories, like the poetry, have been inspired by people I have met or moments experienced that have been special.

I will be sharing my poetry and short stories as part of blogging.  This is a way of sharing perspectives and reflecting on moments. However I am also posting some of the poetry and short stories I have written for easy reference. I invite your feedback. To facilitate a review of the poetry and short stories, I have structured the site by capturing my writings by theme, although even this is quite subjective.
